Our travel philosophy

Our travel philosophy

Welcome to our travel blog! We wanted to take a few minutes to share why we’re here and a bit about our travel philosophy. We hope you join us on this ride!

We’re two hard-working individuals, united in marriage and a passion for all-things-travel. We try to fit a few trips into our busy schedule every year. We’re not full-time travelers (yet!), nor are we fancy travel bloggers or influencers. We’re just two regular people who love to travel and are constantly daydreaming about seeing the world.

We appreciate all types of travel and seek to have a mix of trip types – quiet beach getaways, metropolitan city exploration, and rugged nature adventures. That variety of travel appeals to different aspects of our interest in cultures, food, and landscapes.

A major tenant of our travel philosophy is that we do all of our own travel planning, which is part of the fun! This includes researching travel destinations, sites to visit or skip, where to stay, and how to get around. We’re not so interested in tours where things are planned for us… Although that can be nice, we prefer to customize our trips to our specific interests and find that planning to be a fun challenge.

Here we’ll share not just where we ended up but also how we landed there.

Where do you recommend we go next?

I think either Asia or Ireland, but maybe even Greenland. you don’t hear a lot about that country.
